Blimey

I was just having lunch, and thought "ooooo there's some strawberries in the fridge mmmmm"
Anyway I was chopping them and found a couple that were a bit squidgy, so put them to one side.

I spied the Guinea Pigs throught the window in their run. I often give them bits of food... raw veg/fruit or bread that we dont finish or is a bit soft or old, so I thought I'd give them a go at a strawberry each.

I couldnt believe it.....they LOVED them! Running around after each other squeeking their heads off trying to get the strawberry off the the one they were chasing (there are three G.P's and there were three strawberries...clever they are not!!) It made me really laugh!

I havent tried oranges, or raspberries or kiwi or banana. I wonder if they will like them?....I am not going to go shopping just for the G.P's, but we have some kiwi in the fruit bowl...maybe later they can try that if Small has a kiwi after supper.

Hang on ...guinea pigs eat grass carrots and 'girtie guinea pig' ...not exotic fruits......they'll be asking for a 'chilled glass of something' instead of water next!
