Lent

When you give something up, or abstain from something for the period of 40 days. 'Parently its a good exercise in will power.

Well, what about those of us that find temptation a bit tricky? What do we do? Use more will power? I guess we do.

What if, having made a decision about what to give up, you have a teeny tiny slip up? Does it matter? Can you just think 'fuck-it' and go back to the whole will power thing?

Thing is, there is just so many things I should give up this year!
Ciggies.
Food.
Being so sarcastic so much of the time to innocent people.
Calling the dog 'You Stinky Old Bastard' (actually swearing in general might be a good thing to quit)
Procrastinating.
Watching Jeremy Kyle.
Snuggleing in my comfort zone....ooooo cant do that... it was meant to be my New Years Resolution! (and for the record I'm doing quite well with that!)

With that list its hard just to pick one! but I have, and its not even a thing on the list!! (grin)
and actually I have, just cos i can, brought Lent forward about 6 weeks and have started it already.
And the whole temptation thing..... bring it on.... It cant get any worse than it is already!!
