1950's Spoons
Oh, I forgot to mention that whilst in the 1950's I 'obtained' two tea spoons!!! yay!!
Both from places that we ate in, I have to report that the decor in eateries on the Island can be horrific...think bronze nearly life sized palm trees, and eagles with fibre obtic eyes and out-streached wings!! (....Laurance L.B. would have heart failure) I thought it was hilarious.
Suprisingly to me, L/H helped, or at least encouraged me to carry out blatent law breaking, pointing out items that he thought I might like. Oldest Friend shut her eyes and looked vaguely disaproving and ignored the proceedings.
Said items have been introduced to the collection, and they both pass the 'yoghurt eating' test beautifully!!
