Oh for goodness sake!
I am writting my dissertation. Once that has been finished I have some other essays to write, but it does start the beginging of the end of my life as a student.
10,000 words is what they want. To be handed in in about a week.
10,000 words!!!!! I am writting (or perhaps theorising would be a better word) these words about "Nature vs Nurture, does biology alone explain criminality? "
And you know what?...I could do this in sooooo many less words than is required.
...its both....not one or the other exclusively....can I stop and have a glass of wine now?

...unfortunately that wont do...so I am going through the process of reading/typing/referancing and boring myself to death with the whole thing. I have only got the conclusion to go...when I say its both things, not exclusively one or the other.... if you hear loud cheering coming from the general direction of my house you'll know when I have finished it!!

Is criminality breaking criminal law?
Because that seems a bit of a moveable feast, criminality would be different in different countries or at different times.
Which is a bit woolly if you ask me.

Also ... I have to say that I think the whole nurture question is different these days to what it would have been when we first started asking ourselves these kind of questions. Stay at home Mums are rare and these days our kids are "nurtured" by TV and the internet and peer pressure in a way that generations before us simply weren't.
It's even different from when we were growing up... there's much more outside influence now than there was then.....
It's a tangled issue, I think .... so I shall want to read your essay once it's done, if you'll let me .....
And - also - sorry it has taken me ages to comment on here - I have had to switch from my Blogger login to a gmail login and it kept blocking me until I got it sorted!
