Power/ability/God like Status.

We have looked at eugenics this week at school.

To begin with I was horrified. Who decides who should or shouldnt "breed"? (at its most basic level) .....ah yes, as always it the white, conservative, male, upper middle class church goers. Horray!!!...we are going to be saved again by them!!!! What would we do without them?

please bear with me for the rest of this....... grin

And then........ you know what....how cool would it be???? ...not that Hitlers lil' old master plan was a good idea, he did try his hardest to wipe out entire swathes of populations that he thought were not "worthy" ...and no-one in their right mind would actually want to do that in reality.

But, you know.....everyone has 'things' that they hate about people. They might not talk about it, they might keep it to themselves because of political correctness, or fear of others reactions, or just knowing that its not a good thing to think and they are vaguely ashamed.

But over the last couple of days, after being horrified at the whole eugenics thing I have giggled over what I would do if I had the power and the ability and all that stuff.

I want to make terribly clear that I wouldnt actually do anything if I was given the power/ability/godlike status, but I have been amused by my thoughts.

Think about it....... if you could play with genetics and make people the way you wanted them to be....what would you get rid of?
