The BEST News.

On Sunday my twin phoned. After some small talk he asked how Small was. I blathered on about something or other and then he said

"Does she want a cousin?"

There was a pause while the information was processed and then I said, at the loss of anything else to say "Fuck off" and burst into tears.

The reason for this is that my twin and his wife, well, no-one thought they would ever have children. My sister-in-law (S.I.L. ) was really....thats really poorly when she and my twin first met (yes I know, I thought it was his fault too!) and although she has been fine since no-one was really sure about the whole children issue, and as S.I.L. has a reputation of being really scary (dont believe it, she's rude and funny and a complete wind up merchant with a completely straight face but a huge twinkle in her eye) mostly...and I use the term lightly....we have left it.

I couldnt be more delighted.
It is the best news I have heard for the longest time. They will be fantastic parents, and I know this is about them, but I cant stop being all teary about it, I know how much they are going to love the whole thing, being pregnant and then actually being parents, and how being a parent makes you feel, and I couldnt wish that feeling on any one better. I really couldnt.
