Jeff Buckley
Have you guys heard of Jeff Buckley?
He is, or should I say was, an american song writer and singer who only recorded one album before he died in a drowning 'accident' aged 31 in 1997.
His voice is truely breathtaking, he has a vocal range of 3 and a half octaves and when he sings it makes the hair on my arms and back stand up.
His album 'Grace' would be one I would take to a desert island. (always assuming they have C.D. players there.....actually isnt that a daft thing to say?...if I was shipwreaked on an island, firstly I would want Josh Holloway (Sawyer from lost..mmmmm) there, and if there were c.d. players to play said c.d. why wouldnt there be a hotel and a boat to get you off the damn island?...I have always pondered that)
Anyway, before I go off on a complete tangent, I would like to recomend this album and indeed Jeff to you all.
I defy you not to be moved by him.
The track 'lover, you should've come over' is the best song I have heard for years...and your right... 'its not too late'. and 'its never over'

I used to have the album you are reffering to and thought it was ok.. not brilliant but ok.
Coincidentally, I think his father also died in a drowning accident. Weird heh?
