For her homework this week Small had to research a famous person and write up the basic facts about them, noting their most famous achievements, why they were famous and did that continue throughout their lives or just for a short time.

I was amazed she wanted to research Elvis. (thereby proving without any resonable doubt that females that live together think the same things)

I dont get the whole "Elvis" thing. I know that he is musicaly an enormous influence on many artists, and that many many people still like his music. To be honest I can take it or leave it.
What I was amazed about was his achievements...... Googleing Elvis brings page after page of what he had done/achieved/eaten.

"Elvis lives!!" .... many of them claim..... and whether he does or not depends on your interpretation of the statement, what it left me thinking was 'are their people in the music industry today that will still be talked about with the same excitment that Elvis is 30 years after their death?'
