poorly pingger owww

My finger...the one I broke not so long ago....well if we are pointing and blaming then Blade broke it...anyway it hurts again today.

I bought a ring. White gold and a huge purple stone, its beautiful, really beautiful. I got it today and tried it on. It was a tiny bit tight to put on, but not tight tight.
Within ten minutes of 'ooooo looookkkiiieee loookkkiiieee preeetttttyyy' my finger started to hurt, then it swelled up alarmingly.

I tried butter. I tried really cold water to take the swelling down but to no avail.
In the end I had to go to a jewelers and have it cut off. My beautiful ring cut in two in front of me by a woman who franky needed some deodrant and to clean her teeth!

The lady said she will send it off to have it repaired and made slightly bigger. My finger is all swollen again and feels a bit odd because of all the 'lets see what happens if I pull the ring really hard...it might come off then'
I hope that when I go and pick it up that she has had a bath and some floride in her mouth and my ring is back to its original beauty.
